Schoeller Alpaca Merino Knitting Yarn Med Grey

Schoeller are a high quality Austrian spinner.

The composition of 70% merino and 30% alpaca gives this yarn a luxurious hand feel when knitted up. The count of the yarn is 2/28's or 14000NM and is suitable for 12 gauge knitting machines or multi end of heavier gauges. For hand knitting it is similar to lace weight. The colour is a Med Grey.

The yarn is clean on cone. The finished knitted article benefits from a light steam as it consolidates the fabric and promotes the hand feel. The total weight is 1345g. The weight of the yarn minus the centre cone is 1315g. The postal weight (including packaging) is 1385g.

I am as careful as possible about the photos being a good representation of the colour, but the colours can vary slightly from the picture. I am more than happy to send you a small sample before you buy if needed.
