Wonderful antique carved eagle, measures 6 1/8" T x about 3.5" W & D.

This eagle is handcarved with brass details and glass eyes. His feet have wonderful little claws.

I'm not sure what the receptacle on the back was made for.

He stands upright just fine but his far left toe sits up slightly, so if pushed he wobbles before righting himself. To be clear, this is very slight, he is stable and doesn't fall over.
