Up for sale is a Sophos/Caswell desktop firewall appliance that has been modified to run pfSense® software.  This server/router/firewall has been tested and is ready for use, and features 8x Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, all of which are front accessible and Intel-based.  

The specifications of this appliance are as follows:

- Intel Core i5-6500 Processor @ 3.2 GHz (quad core processor, supports AES-NI)

- 16GB DDR4 RAM (2x 8GB modules)

- 320GB hard drive

- 3 USB 3.0 Ports (2x front, 1x rear)

- HDMI Console Port (rear)

- 6x Gigabit Ethernet copper ports (all front accessible & Intel based) 

- 2x Gigabit Ethernet SFP ports (all front accessible & Intel based)

By default, the LAN and WAN interfaces will be configured on the front ports as labeled.

- WAN: igb1/E1/WAN

- LAN: igb0/E0/LAN

The system has some scratches and signs of wear on the outside of the case.  The item you will receive will be as pictured.  Please note that no rack mounting hardware will be included. 

This device is not fanless, and makes some noise during normal operation.  The LCD display has been configured to function as shown.
