RARE Vtg 1953 Econolite FOREST FIRE Scene Picture Frame MOTION LAMP Works! Video

This groovy and hard to find forest fire motion lamp is in great condition. The lamp features a framed picture of a forest scene with trees and animals that is on fire. When you turn on the back lamp (a standard bulb is used), the scene lights up. As the bulb heats up the spinney cylinder thing, it spins and gives motion to the fire. Like magic lol! The frame measures 8" x 10", and the piece is 5" front to back. Both the cord and on/off rotary switch appear to be original and both are a bit stiff. I gave it a basic wipe down but it could use a more thorough cleaning. . Also, there is some foxing to the matte around the picture, which isn't unusual for the age. Some of the carboard has become brittle, some of it looks as if it was glued, and one of the lid "hinges" in the back is taped (the lid is no longer "hinged" but stays in place because of the built in lip).
