This hair catalog was published in Kyoto in 1779 and was drawn by an artist named Abe Gyokuwanshi.

It depicts examples of diverse hairstyling combinations in the mid-Edo period, giving us a glimpse of what women of the time were enjoying in fashion. This book was reprinted around 1900 by a woodcut workshop called Unsodo.
