Here are a sweet pair of adorable, 4 1/4" and 4" tall, antique, all-bisque sister, "mignonette" style, dollhouse-size dolls with solid dome heads and original wonderful brown, human hair wigs, child-like bodies with excellent molded details, incised eye sockets with painted dark eyes, closed mouths, deep chins and rosy cheeks, c.1912, possibly by Hertwig, Germany. The larger girl is incised on her back: 276 over 2 over Germany. And the smaller sister is incised: 0 1/2 over 2120. They each have molded white ribbed socks with pink bands and blue flat soled shoes. Both dolls have wire joints at shoulders and stiff legs molded apart to stand. Excellent condition on both with no cracks or hairlines (small flakes on one arm at shoulder) and no repairs.  See similar dolls in "All-Bisque & Half-Bisque Dolls"-Angione.
