HP Pen Plotter 7470A ( Hewlett Packard ) , Technical pen set, cord , Excellent

** THANKS FOR THE VIEWS ... I'VE LOWERED THE PRICE FURTHER FOR ONE OF YOU ***

NOTE:  This is only for GPIB ( HPIB ,  IEEE488 ) interfaced systems

This is a very low mileage plotter that has been in my design lab, carefully wrapped and protected, not used for 20 years or so.

The unit is in excellent condition, complete, clean, clean plastic flip down protective cover.

It was used to plot the output of several HP electronic instruments including spectrum analyzer and oscilloscope.  It has very low mileage on it.

I seem to recall that older Tek scopes may support it but I'm not sure (check the TDS 500, 600, 700 series).

The pens I had are dried out (disposable pen) but I'm including two for "doodling".  To my delight (and hopefully yours) I discovered that I had a technical pen adapter so de-listed a Staedtler pen set (700) I had listed and am including it here.  Several of the pen "wires" are broken and not of use.

I installed one of the technical pens, gave it some ink and tested it.  Pen up and down are correct, plotting is very good.  Your media is up to you.  I plotted mostly on vellum or in some cases, on matte mylar.  The upper left corner of the paper shown has a single asterisk plotted.  This is the pass indicator for the plotter's confidence test.

Storing a technical pen requires removing it from the adapter, placing it back into the pen "handle", then capping it.  If you're doing quick little plots, you may want disposables for ease of use.  The quality of the "wet ink" technical pen, however, is always superior.

Included:

plotter
power cord
technical pen set (missing some parts but not necessarily relevant)
2 mostly dried out disposable pens to play with or test plotter
plotting ink, partial bottle

Will ship ONLY TO CONTINENTAL USA, no exceptions, don't ask.  Shipped via USPS or UPS ground service.  Will be well packed so you get it in the excellent shape it's in.
