These shell pieces are new and high quality. They match the color of the original black pieces very closely.
The hinge is a tight fit in the top inner shell piece, however it fits super snug once you get it in, and it works wonderfully.
You may purchase the top or bottom inner shell piece alone, or with the bottom inner shell piece with its hinge cover. Purchasing both of them ensures they match 100%, but is not necessary.
