| Genuine Vietnam Issue U.S. Military Nylon Extraction Rope Coil *** I also offer these in a box of 4 *** These are Genuine 1960's U.S. military OD green nylon extraction rope coils found in new condition. These have never been used. The color of these rope coils is Olive Drab and will vary slightly from each rope coil. The nylon rope is virgin rope and not discarded by the Military after over-use. Often called "safety rope", each rope coil is roughly 15 -17 feet long and 3/8" in diameter. Each end is looped and spliced to accept a carabiner or snap-hook. Enough to make a field expedient rappel extraction seat (Swiss Seat) and are commonly seen carried on grunts ruck sacks. Grunts would also use these in the field for any purpose requiring strong rope. These rope coils are the perfect addition to your ruck. Most commonly see in just about all combat arms troops in Vietnam including Airborne troops, Special Forces, MACV SOG and regular Infantry. This auction is for one rope coil.
