The medal is in pristine condition and comes with the manufacturer's box, viz ; "The Art Medal Works Inc. Newark N.J." and is dated March 27 1920.

Roy Radtke's time in France is worth some further investigation.  It is possible that he trained as a driver and this is the reason the medal package comes with the State of Wisconsin Registration a Ford Touring 20hp on his return to the States in March 1920.

Also added to the package is a Veteran's booklet by Major Maloney on the help returning soldier should expect. A reminder how returning veterans are always forgotten.
