Antique Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Plate Center, Ming dynasty.

A ground down porcelain plate, eliminating the rim beyond the circular foot ring. The focus is on the design of a long snout fish among swirls and aquatic foliage within a double circular band rendered in cobalt blue.

Altered condition revealing the white porcelain body, some kiln grit adhesions to the foot rim.
