(2) "Uncle Peasly and the Pea Pod Kids" 1986 Playland Books. Written by Michael Stoy (see pic for other credits). Excellent used condition. All pop-up pages are complete and function like new. Minimal signs of age. This book is in close to mint condition.
(3) "Adventures of the Pea Pod Kids in Uncle Peasly's Shortcut" 1988 Playland Books. Written by Bob Sheffels (see pic for other credits). Excellent used condition. All pop-up pages are complete and function like new. Minimal signs of age.
I have searched many hours, as far as the U.K., for these books and dolls to offer complete sets. Every book and doll is closely inspected to offer you the highest quality. Sometimes, these pop-up books can be found from used book stores but I have never seen them include the original dolls, and most pop-up books from 2nd-hand thrift stores are damaged and dirty. It is especially rare to include the "Uncle Peasly" doll! He is extremely hard to find for sale! My own children (now all grown up!) received books like these, as a gift from their grandmother - back in the 1990s. They still recall the dolls and books with fond memories. For anyone who also has "Pea Pod Kids" memories, or any children's pop-up book collector, or anyone who wishes to give a wonderful, imaginative, rare and original gift to a child - HERE IT IS!
