A unique incense holder/burner that features a Chinese mythological creature - the Dragon Turtle.  Holder appears to be made of brown pottery or earthenware (not sure); Dragon Turtle is etched into the pottery; holder is oval or egg shaped.  Holder is signed in 2 places on the back side and on bottom…I cannot decipher or translate maker’s mark.

The dragon turtle is a legendary Chinese creature that combines two of the four celestial animals of Chinese mythology: the body of a turtle with a dragon's head is promoted as a positive ornament in Feng Shui, symbolizing courage, determination, fertility, longevity, power, success, and support. 

Dimensions:  4.5 inches tall, base diameter is approx. 2.25 inches. Item weighs 12.5 ounces.
