Designed entirely in house by Porsche with help from Penske Racing. It made its racing debut at the final round of the 2005 American Le Mans Series, the Monterey Sports Car Championship at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, entered by Penske Racing and driven by Lucas Luhr and Sascha Maasen from the Porsche factory team. The sole RS Spyder finished first in class and fifth overall..
The car is a sleek yellow and red Porsche. It has simulated leather interior with cloth seat belts. It was sponsored by DHL, and is part of the Porsche Design Driver's Collection manufactured in Germany.
Car is secured to a black plastic display stand. It is in a window box so you can view the car from the top, sides, and rear. There is some minor cosmetic damage to the box.
The box was originally opened so that the car could be placed into a glass display case, and later for eBay pictures and inspection only.
Very good/excellent, condition. EXCEPTIONS to condition statement: Box has some crimps here and there AND both side mirrors and antenna have broken off after being removed from display case, re-boxed, and stored. Breaks to mirror posts are fairly clean and the mirrors and pieces of the antenna are included. Priced accordingly.
