DAMAGES / RETURNS / REFUNDS

I accept returns of items that arrive back in the same condition as bought. Such items must be dispatched for return within 3 days of you receiving the item. Repair charges will be incurred for items that are returned in a lesser condition than when sent out. Buyers assume responsibility for condition of items from receipt of delivery until the item arrives at our workshop.

ABOUT ‘RAW FURNITURE’

My name is Rebecca Ann Wilmer and I am the owner of my established and growing business ‘Raw Furniture’.  My studio is based in the village of Ribchester, in Lancashire's Ribble Valley. I professionally paint furniture in my studio using chalk paint, to create a unique and distinctive hand painted patina.

As well as my own furniture, I also paint furniture for 3 Interior Design Companies who are stockists of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. I have also had the privilege of being trained by Annie Sloan down at Oxford HQ, to host 'one to one' and 'group' workshops, which I host in Ribchester, Whalley, Skipton and Barton.

COMMISSIONS

The benefits to painting furniture is to reduce waste, reuse and up-cycle, as-well as creating a unique, beautiful one-off piece of furniture for your home. When I am handed down a piece of furniture from my family and friends or even when I purchase a piece second-hand, I am consciously making an effort in participating to a more environmental and sustainable world. This has been the ethos of my ‘Raw Furniture’ business over the last 9 years.

Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, in my opinion, is the best paint available for rejuvenating and up-cycling furniture and allows me to create some fantastic textures and finishes by applying layers of paint, using different mediums, distressing and waxing. I have acquired many techniques and skills in using chalk paint over the years which are essential in order for me to create a wonderful unique, one-off hand painted piece that my customers and clients are searching for to adorn their home.
