Green and white 5mm jade/jadeite beads on a very fine 18-inch 14-karat yellow gold cable round link chain necklace. I love the beauty and simplicity of this amazing necklace.

Deep green jade next to the creamy white jade on a fine yellow gold chain are an amazing combination. Appropriate for Italy in the summertime, tropical holidays in a sundress, and Saturday night on a blind date in a new jumpsuit -- or just wear it to work. The gold, green and cream are striking and coordinate well with any other color palette.

I found a maker's mark on the chain but did not recognize it, and neither did the prior owner. The necklace is in flawless condition except for a few minor surface scratches, the kind commonly found on pre-owned jewelry that are invisible during normal wear.

This necklace has all the signs of being loved and worn on special occasions, and then returned to careful storage. It is a stunning piece, perfectly appropriate for casual or formal wear.
