~Foliage Patrol Bag are water resistant and recommended for temperate climates between +30°F to +50°F. It has an adjustable hood with nylon drawstring cord and barrel lock. Foliage patrol bag also has a reversible double pull zipper that self-repairs if jammed or snagged.
~Urban Grey Intermediate Cold Weather Bag are water resistant and recommended for colder climates between +30°F to -10°F. It has an adjustable hood with nylon drawstring cord and barrel lock; quilted chest collar prevents air drafts, hood adjusts for heat retention. Foot area contains twice the insulation as the rest of the bag to keep feet toasty warm. Inner cold weather bag has a reversible double pull zipper that self-repairs if jammed or snagged.
~ACU Digital Bivy Cover are made of water and wind proof GORTEX® fabric. It includes snap fasteners and zipper. The foliage patrol bag can be zipped in the inner Foliage cold weather and both can be snapped in the bivy cover for extreme cold weather protection from -10°F to -40°F!
~Foliage Large Compression Stuff Sack are made of rip stop nylon and has 9 nylon webbing straps with plastic buckle fasteners. Cylinder shape with nylon drawstring and barrel lock. The compression stuff sack will fit the outer foliage patrol bag, inner urban grey cold weather bag and bivy cover.
~Foliage Small Compression Stuff Sack are made of rip stop nylons and has 3 nylon webbing straps with plastic buckle fastener. Cylinder shape with nylons drawstring and barrel lock.
The US Military Improved ACU Modular Sleep System (MSS) is a sleeping bag system constructed to insulate the user in environments ranging from mild weather to extremely cold weather. The system consists of two Mummy-style sleeping bags-the Patrol (Foliage) and the Intermediate Cold Weather (Urban Grey). Each are constructed of water-resistant, ripstop nylon. Each sleeping bag is fully functional independently. For a temperature to -30°, insert the Intermediate Cold Weather bag inside the Patrol bag. Each bag is compatible with the vapor permeable Bivy cover. When all 3 components are used together the system is rated to provide 4 hours sleep at -40°F. Non-flammable and machine washable.
