Antique Smoked Crackle Finish & Gilt Flower Accent Vase ca. 1920's.  This beautiful antique piece is in excellent condition.  The "hour glass" shaped vase measures approximately 12 inches high x 1 1/4 inches wide at the thinnest part of the neck x 3 1/2 inches wide at the thickest part of the body with an approximate 4 inch diameter base.  The smoky gray/black glass has a crackle finish, similar to sandblasting, that gives this piece beautiful character.  The lip and base of the vase has smoothed gold colored gilt.  The body of the vase has gold gilt detailing that includes an Asian style flower, possibly an orchid, with foliage and stems reaching outward.  The gilt has a very light patina in some spots.  This vase is not stamped with a hallmark.  The vase has been in storage for 15+ years.  I have only dusted the item of with a soft cloth.  You may need to wash it prior to use.  The vase is in overall excellent antique condition!
