Mykhailo Petrovych Starytskyi (November 2 (14) 1839, Klishchyntsi - April 14 (27) 1904, Kyiv) was a Ukrainian writer (poet, playwright, novelist), theater and cultural figure. One of the luminaries of the Ukrainian household theater.
In November 2020, for the 180th anniversary of the writer, Ukrposhta issued a stamp "Mykhailo Starytskyi. 1840–1904". Release date — 11/12/2020. The number according to the Ukrposhta catalog is 1867.
