Face Pot is from a large Kevin Francis collection and presents in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing observed. Hand written notation on box reading "William + Catherine Art. Ed. Vampire". Face Pot displays very well, as depicted.
Fitting snugly into the palm of your hand, Face Pots were introduced in 2000 by Kevin Pearson and the art pottery team of Kevin Francis. Drawing on 18th Century Netsuke design combined with the best of art pottery and the English toby jug tradition, they became an immediate success and introduced a whole new genre of pottery commemoratives.
Designed by top ceramic sculptors, each Face Pot is handmade and hand-painted in Stoke-on-Trent, England and made to the same high standard as traditional Kevin Francis releases. Each Pot contain a quote from (or associated with)the character portrayed. A studio pottery approach resulted in limited production numbers of each Pot.
