Antique mid 19th century Pure Coin silver D Frame folding eyeglasses with case. These were purchased in the 1980's in Key West when Duval Street was full of Antique shops. Condition is extraordinary for age; these date to the early Victorian Era the only condition issue may be with folding lens at left side (last photo). I only noticed this upon photographing, the lens is secure in frame and does not affect wearability.  Wore these for years and always stored them in this Victorian Tartan Ware case.
You will purchase glasses and case together in this auction. Glasses measure 4 3/8" temple to temple and 6 1/8" temple to end of earpiece when extended, lens measure 1 1/4" long and 1" tall. Folded they fit tightly into case. I polished lightly so as not to lose the attractive patina of silver.
