A rare and decorative early woodcut view of the city of Siena in Tuscany. This genuine woodcut shows a view of the city at the end of the 15th century in decorative colours. It derives from a german 1493 edition of the famous "Liber chronicarum" by Hartmann Schedel. The sheet measures ca. 22 x 40 cm overall and is in good to fair condition, showing some light browning due to age.
