Harutaka Nagasue was a guitar maker at the Fernandes company in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Fernandez was founded in 1969 and was initially named Saito Musical Instruments, and was also a wholesaler of musical instruments, with classical guitars as its mainstay.In the time of Fernandes, it started selling the Grand Concert Series (GC series) with the same name as Yamaha. , the Fernandes GC series was released and became the main product.

Fernandez guitars have GC series for each grade, from GC10 to GC150.They first started with the original horizontal label, but from around 1975 they changed to the diamond-shaped label, and production began on contract to Takamine, Suzuki Violin, etc. It seems like it was.

The guitar for sale is an original handcrafted guitar by Harutaka Nagasue, made at the Fernandes studio around 1980. In addition, the Fernandes GC series, which are mass-produced guitars with a high degree of perfection, seem to have been manufactured on a separate line at the Fernandes workshop.

The top of the guitar is solid spruce, the back and sides are solid rosewood, the neck is mahogany, the fingerboard is ebony, and the bridge is rosewood. There is a crack prevention on the side, the overall construction is solid, and the thickness and shape of the neck are designed to make it easy to play. In addition, the tone is well-balanced and beautifully echoes the structure of the guitar, from the deep bass to the lightly resonating treble.

This is a vintage guitar that is about 40 years old and has some small scratches, but is in good condition overall. We have also installed Augustine black for trial use, so you can try it out right away.
