I have here for sale a book entitled HISTORY OF THE TWELFTH REGIMENT NEW HAMPSHIRE VOLUNTEERS IN THE WAR OF THE REBELLION by Capt A W Bartlett.  It is a first edition published in 1897 by Ira C Evans, in Concord, New Hampshire, USA.  It has 7 illustrations and then 256 pages of portraits of Field and Staff, Companies and others.  Chapters include: From Concord to Falmouth; Fredericksburg; Mud March and Winter at Falmouth; Chancellorsville; The Gettysburg Campaign; Point Lookout; Point Lookout to Drury's Bluff; Drury's Bluff  and Port Walthall; Cold Harbor; Siege of Petersburg; Bermuda Front and Chapin's Farm or the Last Winter in "Dixie"; Capture and Occupation of Richmond; Manchester and Danville; Experiences, Anecdotes and Incidents; Conclusion.

Bound in dark green cloth hardboards with blind embossed pattern across the top and bottom of the boards.  Gilt lettering to the spine.  Some scuffing to head and tail.  Both hinges are cracked so boards feel a little loose.  Green floral endpapers.  Pages clean but slightly sunned.  749 + 87 page roster + summary.  28 cm x 18 cm.
