My mother, Althea Bieler, was an amazing doll maker.  During her life she made 1,000s of cloth dolls.  This set of dolls includes a Native American Storyteller doll and her 5 children (which are beanbags in this set.)  My parents spent a long week at Mesa Verde in the 1990s and came back full of inspiration and excitement for the characters they learned about.  Mom set right away to make this doll.  I can't remember the exact date of their creation but I can tell you that the main19 inch doll is made from cotton cloth and has gray wool yarn hair.  She has three bead necklaces and wears a lined dress.  The doll is made so that she sits firmly on a flat surface. Her face is made with a felt mouth and bead eyes. The children are made as fairly flat bean bags that are about 5 inches tall.  They have bead eyes that match the main doll but no other features other than their black yarn hair.

I have many other dolls and family treasures (as all of my siblings and myself are trying to downsize our collections) for sale in my store.  Please take a moment to check them all out.  I will gladly combine shipping on items purchased on the same day.  Thanks for looking!
