Pewter plate, 11" diameter, bears the Presidential Seal in relief at center and "Presidential Yacht Sequoia" engraved about the rim. Hallmarked: "WILTON - COLUMBIA, PA."

This and several other presidential items came from the Estate sale of a U.S. Navy Command Master Chief. He served under JFK, LBJ, Nixon, Ford, Carter and Reagan. Some ships under his command were the "Shelton”, "Henrico", and “Proteus”. He retired in 1986 but still played a role close to presidents, since he had an extensive collection of gifts, personalized White House invitations, Christmas cards, signed pictures, and commendations from each president up until Trump. He was commissioned as Honorary Captain of the Sequoia which was the Presidential Yacht from Hoover in 1925 to Clinton who was the last sitting President to board.
