Changing or replacing your speedometer gear is required to ensure an accurate speedometer reading after gears are changed, tire size is changed, or simply as a stock replacement.

These gears are for FORD transmissions where the speedometer gear access hole is on the driver side of the transmission. Speedometer gears attach to the end of the speedometer cable and are inserted into the end of the transmission. NONE OF THESE GEARS WILL WORK IF THE SPEEDOMETER GEAR CABLE ENTERS THE TRANSMISSION FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE

The speedo gear will fit all Ford rear wheel drive cars and trucks, including a select few Non-Ford Models.

 will also work with Automatic transmissions with a 4WD 4x4 transfer case, and THESE AUTOMATIC/STANDARD TRANSMISSIONS: C4, C6, FMX, Ford 3-Speed, Ford 4-Speed, T-5, Tremec and T-45.
