The coat of arms and flag were established by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated June 14, 2007 No. 279 and registered in the State Heraldic Register on June 4, 2009 No. B-114 and No. B-115.

Coat of arms: Crossed Varangian shield, in the upper golden field of which a black bull is depicted, in the lower green field there is a golden horseshoe.

Flag: A rectangular panel with an aspect ratio of 1:2, consisting of two horizontal equal-sized stripes: the upper yellow one depicts a black bull, the lower green one depicts a yellow horseshoe.

The stomach has been known from written sources since the 14th century. For several centuries it was in private ownership. Since the 18th century. its history is connected with the names of representatives of the Tizengauz family, famous in Belarus.

The Tizengauz family coat of arms “Buffalo” is an image of a black bull in a golden field of a shield. Several of its varieties are known, belonging to this family and affecting, first of all, the isography of the animal itself. There are coats of arms on which the full figure of a bull is inscribed, either its head alone, or the family sign has a multipart division, depending on the marriage entered into by the Tizengauzes with representatives of other clans.

Paying due respect and preserving the bright memory of the representatives of the Tizengauz family, who owned Zheludok and its environs for about two hundred years and did a lot for the development of the town, the main figure from the family coat of arms - a black buffalo - turned out to be quite appropriate on the modern official heraldic symbol of the urban village.
  • However, it was necessary to introduce a certain element into the modern city coat of arms that would emphasize the distinctive feature of Zheludok, especially since the Tizengauzes also owned other settlements. Such an addition is the image of a horseshoe, proposed by the Shchuchin district executive committee. On the Zheludok coat of arms, this heraldic figure symbolizes the commercial successes of the town in the 19th–20th centuries. and the fairs held here. Seven nails in the horseshoe show the number of noble families who owned the Zheludok. In addition, the horseshoe has a wide interpretation in symbolism, one of which is success, luck, happiness, profit. The combination of such capacious heraldic figures as a bull (buffalo) in a golden field and a golden horseshoe led to the use of only one enamel - green.

For the modern coat of arms of the village, a Varangian-shaped shield was chosen, which is widely used for modern territorial coats of arms of the Grodno region.

In the Zheludok flag, the two main elements of the coat of arms are transferred to a panel that has its main colors - yellow and green.

Coat of arms and flag of the city. The stomach was considered at a meeting of the Shchuchinsky district executive committee and approved by its decision of October 26, 2006 No. 700.
