QNAP TP431p with 4x 8tb drives (32TB) NAS - FAULTY for parts - Free Shipping

As per the title, this is for sale as not working.

For context, when I turn it on, the fan spins, LAN port lights up, but nothing else follows. Usually there is a boot sequence with lots of beeping...however nada.

With regard to what happened prior to get to this point, I accidentally plugged in my laptop power supply into the NAS.

The laptop PSU runs at 19v11amp, this runs at 12v7amps.

There were no clouds of capacitor smoke or anything like that. Once the correct power supply was used...it just didn't work.

Anyway, I'm not some tech guru, who knows how to solder boards and do repairs. I'd rather just move on and rehome to someone that knows what they are doing.

Pick up possible from Notting Hill (3168) if you are in VIC (and want to knock off $25 from the purchase price).

Selling as faulty and for parts, as such, no returns.

You'll need a LAN cable to interface with it, but any CAT6 will do the trick if you can get it working.
