Exceptional and extremely long antique Egyptian Scarab Necklace made up of 47 old Egyptian Scarabs (mostly Faience). All beautifully carved and of various sizes, colors and thicknesses. The Necklace was most likely strung in the 1920's though the Scarabs are earlier. The antique Scarab Necklace measures an astonishing approximate 34" in length. The largest Scarab measuring approximately 15/16" long by 5/8" by 1/4" deep. The smallest measuring approximately 3/8" long; many sizes in-between. All with various symbols and hieroglyphics on their reverse sides. A slight chip noted on the edge a blue Scarab bead (seen in the foreground of one of the photos). They are strung with a dark brown or deep maroon string and knotted between each bead. Not certain what type of string (it has a slight sheen); possibly silk. Possible that some of the Scarabs date to the Grand Tours of the late 18th century / early 19th century, while some others are earlier. Photos show the Necklace well. Photos of the old Egyptian Scarab Necklace were taken with and without a camera flash. Note the yellow and purple string in some photos are from our inventory tags and not part of the piece.

The returning item must be in the original condition as when sent and placed in the mail within 15 days of original delivery date. Required specifications for a safe return are that the item be securely packed, boxed and shipped fully insured with tracking via USPS. The USPS tracking details must be sent via eBay to us by the Buyer after shipping. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Upon its return and inspection, we will refund your Paypal account less the original shipping charges and will notify you once received and refunded.
