Condition

I'm not really sure about the grade of this copy - there are 4-5 small spine ticks and a small crease to the bottom front, and a wrinkle to the top rear that a good presser would be able to get rid of, but there's also a mild amount of tanning to the rear right edge which can be seen in the scan, and I'm frankly not sure what that would do to the grade.

But I am not a professional grader, just a collector freeing up some space in my long boxes, so don’t rely on my guess, please examine the images and make your own estimation of the condition of this comic before buying! While I’ve tried to list all the defects that I can see to assist with your estimation, I can’t guarantee that I’ve identified all of them (I might have just not seen some). I’m very happy to answer any questions that you might have to help with your assessment.

Scans

All images are of the item being sold, not stock images. If there’s something you’re specifically interested in seeing in more detail, please ask.

Where possible, comics have been scanned to provide high-res, reflection-free images. Sometimes (e.g. foil covers) that doesn’t work, so apologies for using photos instead for those listings!

Scans have been adjusted to enhance their contrast, to facilitate better examination, and to straighten the comic within the image, but otherwise have not been changed (no dust-removal has been applied, so there may be occasional spots on the image – if concerned, please contact me and I can check if that is a defect on the item, or just on the scan).

Shipping

Individual comics will be sent bagged and boarded in a new cardboard mailer; where the value is over £10, they will additionally be sealed inside a bubble-wrap sleeve.

Higher-value comics may have a higher stated shipping cost than lower-value comics, as they will need to be sent insured for everyone’s peace of mind.

If the comic price is over £50, I will send it inside a rigid plastic top-loader (in addition to the bubble-wrap sleeve) for additional protection.

If the item cost is below £50, but you want it sent inside a top-loader for extra protection, I can do that at an additional charge of £1 – please let me know when requesting your invoice if that’s your preference, and wait for me to issue an invoice with the additional cost before paying.

I can combine shipping for multiple comics – please make sure to message me directly and request this, as the automatic request function on the website doesn’t always work.

If you’re an international buyer looking to combine shipping, please contact me before buying, as the current system doesn’t allow for combining items that will ship though the Global Shipping Programme, but there is a manual workaround.
