Rolex Perpetual Chronometer 3696 Pink Gold Tropical Bubbleback Wristwatch 1940's.  This vintage Rolex Oyster has a two tone case measuring approximately 32mm wide x 39mm lug to lug x 13mm thick with 17mm lugs.  The bubbleback is stamped "Stainless Steel R.W.C. - 299289".  The stainless steel and 14k rose gold case is in good condition for it's age with most of the surface wear and patina being on the back, as pictured.  The tropical rose dial has luminous Arabic numerals and baton hour markers, luminous hands, a sweep second hand and is marked "Rolex Oyster Perpetual Certified Chronometer - Swiss Made".  The lume appears to be in good condition.  The dial has light wear for it's age and is in overall great condition. The crystal is in good condition.  The inside case is stamped "Brevetee - Rolex SA - Geneve Suisse - 31 Victories - Haute Precision - RWC Ltd - 3696".  The movement is stamped "N54XXX - Rolex Perpetual Chronometer - Swiss Made - Patented - Trigger Screw - Vis Tirette".  All screws and jewels are in good condition.  The screw down crown sets the time.  The crown is marked "Rolex Oyster".  This automatic watch is running approximately 2-3 minutes slow per 24 hours.  No guarantee of future performance.  The watch has a brown leather strap.  This Rolex watch is in overall great vintage condition!  ca. 1940's
