Antique Civil War Era Woman Photo Gold Plate Oval Pendant Picture Frame Ornate

Size: 2 1/2"t×2 1/8"w, fits 2 1/4"×2" photo or image. Measurements do not include the top attached loop.

Antique shop find. Use as a necklace pendant or hang on the wall. Maroon velvet backing.  Photo inside is missing the bottom  1/4 portion. Back of photo reads Prescott & Gage. They were in business from 1861 to 1865. The beautiful gold plated ornate oval frame is in good condition considering its age with some light wearing and scuffs.  The top loop unscrewed to open the ornate gold frame. Possible makers mark on loop or its scuffing. The frame must be squeezed together in order to screw the loop back on.  Keep thus photo or add your own..
