Vintage “Genius At Work” Girl Power Desk Lamp!

My little bit of research tells me this was made in Japan. This looks to be a 1960a piece.

The lamp works. The wooden knob at the end top of the plastic shade twists for on/off.

It is about 18” to 20” tall.

There is a crack where the plastic lampshade connects to the gold metal adjustable neck.

The pen is still with the piece, but the ink has dried up, or has been used up. I’m sure you can find a replacement and put it in the place of what’s there.

She’s a blue eyed cutie. Perhaps you need a movie prop? Something inspiring for your own workspace?
