American ash hardwood is a versatile and durable wood that is widely used for various applications. It has a light to medium brown colour, a straight and regular grain, and a moderate hardness. It is easy to work with and responds well to steam bending, gluing, staining, and finishing. Some of the main uses of American ash hardwood are furniture, flooring, doors, architectural millwork and moulding, kitchen cabinets, tool handles, baseball bats, sporting equipment, and turnings. 

Our boards are always supplied planed both faces to around 21mm or 27mm and cut to width, thickness can vary +-2mm.
