This is an extremely rare and fabulous silk scarf from the 1980’s designed by Kansai Yamamoto.

Mr. Yamamoto designed much of David Bowie’s outfits as wellas designed for many other high fashion designers like Louis Vuiton.

This silk scarf has a Kabuki pattern and a vibrent colorfull pallet with all of KANSAI'S stylistic details and logos.
The fabric is a sturdy silk and there is a texture to it. It has hand rolled hems anthe size is a 34" square.

The scarf is in excellent condition.  It has not been worn since I acquired it back in the 1980"s and is an unusual piece to own. This is the kind of piece that one could simply hang on a wall as a piece of art.
