Dutch ships (1:1800 scale)

These are 3D printed models designed for use with any miniature wargame rules.

Bases

They are available as waterline models OR on a base.

There are three styles of base:

Text

You can request different text on each side. For instance some people prefer the name on both sides, all the text in Caps etc. If you have a request please contact me.

Refits

Some models have different years refits available. If there is more than one date (ie 39/40/41) then it means there are options for each year (in this case 1939, 1940 or 1941). If you want a specific year please let me know otherwise I will supply one at random.

Print on demand

I design and printed these models myself. Please treat as a print on demand service. If there is likely to be a significant delay I will contact you and offer a refund.

Models

The models are printed in grey resin and are unpainted. They come on a support raft that needs to be cut away with side snips (see video). If you don't have any search ebay for 'Electrical Side Snip cutters'. Most models are hollow.

Scale

The models are scaled at 1:1800. They are also available at 1:2400, (or any custom scale), please contact me for details. Note the price for 1:2400 is the same.

I can do 1:1200 up to around 20cm in length. I you wanted longer than that I'd have to look at producing it in two halves. This scale does cost more please contact me.

Strength

The models are made from resin and will break if mishandled. The finer detail such as the mast are particularly vulnerable and care will need to be taken when storing.

I will combine the postage.

What you get

One unpainted resin model of the ship in question

Painting

I recommend using a thin undercoat so as to not fill in the details. You will need to apply two or three coats rather than one thick one. Once that is done I find acrylic paint (I use Vallejo paints) takes very well.

Please see my other lisings for other nations and aircraft.
