This sports section came from a September 19, 1941 edition of a St. Louis Post-Dispatch newspaper. The front page contains a bold banner headline announcing a Brooklyn Dodgers win over the St. Louis Cardinals snapping a four game St. Louis winning streak. The page also contains photos of Joe DiMaggio and his home run swing that helped the Yankees defeat the St. Louis Browns. This home run was in the midst of DiMaggio's 56 game hitting streak that most likely will never be broken.
This sports section is in very good condition. However, the pages should still be treated as delicate and handled with care upon receipt. This sports section originally came from a bound library volume and exhibits typical chipping and paper loss on the edges. Additional minor paper loss could occur during shipment.

The pages will be placed in a clear plastic sleeve and gently rolled and inserted into a sturdy cardboard tube. Single newspaper pages can be shipped via First Class Mail. Please specify if expedited Priority Mail is desired. I will combine shipping but additional newspaper pages may require Priority Mail shipping due to total package weight.
International Shipping
I can ship several pages using First Class International Postage. Any additional pages may require Priority Mail International shipping depending on total package weight.
