What is it?

This is a pre-wired passive treble bass (PTB) Stratocaster wiring harness upgrade for American or Mexican Fender Stratocasters. Features 500k CTS Pots, treble bleed mod, Volume, treble, and bass controls.  Wired with the highest quality parts and cleanest solder connections from a professional guitar tech.  This set up will get you a brighter and clearer signal with a deeper control of your tone. 

Layout

-Master Volume with treble bleed mod.  Have you ever noticed how the tone gets muddy and lacks definition when you roll the volume down on the guitar?  The treble bleed mod helps to retain your high end treble frequencies when cutting back on the volume. I have spent a lot of time playing around with different caps and resistors to find the perfect treble bleed mod.  The roll off of the volume is smooth and retains a clear bright signal at lower volumes. 

-The middle tone is wired as a master treble control for all three pickups with a .022 Orange Drop capacitor.  

 -The bottom tone is wired as a master bass control.  This is one of my favorite mods!  Gives the ability to cut low end frequencies without affecting the upper mids or highs.  It helps produce a clearer and cleaner signal. I find it very useful when using lots of delay (especially with the break up of analog).  Cutting the bass frequencies brings detailed texture with more clarity.  I also use it a lot with a wah pedal for a cleaner and more balanced frequency sweep.  It also has a big affect on how the pickups interact with distortion or over drive pedals.  I sometimes like to turn the gain up on the pedal and use the bass knob as a secondary gain control.  When you lower the bass the signal cleans up and is less distorted.

-This harness features 500k volume and tone pots in place of the standard 250k.  500k pots allow more high end to come through the signal producing a brighter and more vibrant tone.  This is great fix for guitars or pickups that sound too dark or muddy and pairs well with humbuckers and higher output single coils.
