"Ten Ways To Drive An SUV"

This is an unframedsigned and numbered, Tom Everhart hand pulled lithograph on Rives BFK paper, and is entitled "Ten Ways To Drive An SUV."

The 2002 art is hand signed by Everhart, and it is from the regular numbered edition of just 500 pieces.  This piece is numbered 246/500!  and is published by S2 Art Groupe, LTD.  The publisher's chop mark is embossed in the lower left area of the paper.  See last photo for the embossed "S."

Tom Everhart is a California-based artist and is the protege of the famous "Peanuts" creator, Charles M. Schultz (1922-2000.) Tom is the only artist in the world granted the rights to draw the "Peanuts" characters in his own art. Everhart creates extremely colorful and vibrant collectible art, featuring Snoopy, Woodstock and the other "Peanuts" characters...in a way you've never seen them before!  Tom met Charles Schultz in 1980 and the two became very close friends.  Then Tom did a lot of commercial projects for Schultz.  Charles encouraged Tom to paint the famous "Peanuts" cartoon characters, and finally Tom did.  His paintings of these "Peanuts" characters are a sensation...they have been exhibited at the Louvre in Paris, recently in New York, and throughout the major cities of the world.  The art is a very hot commodity and very limited!  "Peanuts" has gone from Pop Culture to Pop Art!

This hand pulled lithograph comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and is in  excellent condition!  It has never been matted or framed!

The dimensions of the lithograph are 37" X 28 1/2." The image area is approximately 31" X 22 1/2."

Special Note:  This artwork was created on a rare antique Marinoni Voirin lithograph press that dates to the 1800's.  The press is reputed to come from the Paris, France print shop of artist Henri Toulouse-Lautrec.  There are only known to be seven of these presses left in the world.  The significance of these presses is that few operators exist that know the techniques to utilize them.  In addition, few are willing to expend the hours necessary to make lithographs with these machines.  The lithographs produced through use of these presses, however, are of the highest quality.  Colors are hand mixed, one at a time.  Skilled operators feed museum quality paper through the presses to set the colors and impressions.  As a result of the time and skill used by the operators, the end product is an art image with maximum pigment saturation...meant to last over the years.  This artwork is one of the final Tom Everhart editions to be printed using this very special technique!
