Battalion, APO 634, c/o Postmaster New York, NY --- the letter is censored --- APO 634 indicates that at this time Private Pituck is stationed at the Headquarters  of the 8th Air Force in England;

This is a Christmas v-mail --- GREETINGS from BRITAIN is at the top with various people including soldiers celebrating and opening gifts -- the illustration is signed - Wingut? and the sender signed below above the holly in the lower right corner;

WAR & NAVY DEPARTMENTS, V-Mail Service/Official Business at upper left corner --- US Postal Service No.2 Jan 2 4-PM 1944 circular dated postmark -- two receiving cancels on back, one is dated January 9, 1944 at Wendover Field, Utah from the W.F.... Office and the other receiving cancel is dated January 10 from the US post office --- Answered 1/23/44 in script -- cover has been slit open at top;

Shipping and handling is as follows:

For United States residents, all items or combined items will be sent with free shipping by USPS First Class Mail, NOT BY USPS GROUND ADVANTAGE, which will be paid by the buyer ($3 to $5);

Bidders from all countries other than the USA pay $2.00 shipping/handling (s/h) for stamps for the 1st ounce and $2.75 s/h for covers, post cards and booklets for the 1st ounce except if a registered fee is required.
