White ash 2-piece body, maple neck/ebony fingerboard. The JJ-4 uses a Bartolini preamplifier, but this model is equipped with an Aguilar OPB-2 with 18V specifications. The fat and sophisticated Aguilar sound is compatible with the installed Oxalis pickup and outputs high quality sound. Like the recent JJ-4, a deep joint neck is adopted, improving the tightness of the sound and ease of maintenance. Please check for yourself the impact of the ``orthodox'' product used by many famous players. There are some slight scratches, signs of use, and dullness/rust on the metal parts, but it looks relatively clean. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The warp of the neck has been adjusted with a rod, but when I adjusted the bass strings to be straight, the treble strings were slightly warped. There is no particular problem with playing.
