This is a vintage Waterford Ah Chara Failte (which I believes roughly means "Welcome/Cheers, my friend!") hurricane lamp. I have two Irish Connemara marble bases, both of which fit the lamp. The green one is original to the piece. There is also a small green used tea candle I will ship with the set.
The crystal shade itself is in perfect condition, except for residue from the original sticker on it, that I decided to leave for the buyer to wipe off if they wish. The shade is 8 1/8" tall and is 4 3/4" in diameter.
This item is made in Ireland, a vintage piece, given the Gothic design to the watermark at the base.
The two Connemara marble bases are also in excellent condition. Although the green one is original to the piece, the grey one looks stunning with it also and it fits as if it were made for it, sitting on the bottom ring.
