Description:
Great Mid-Century Modern piece of art glass. Heavy clear glass base that becomes a smokey blue colored glass. A gold foil label with the ASEDA name and signia can be found on the base.
History: Aseda Glasbruk was founded in Sweden in 1947. Bo Borgstrom began designing glass for Aseda in the 1960s. Aseda then became part of the Royal Krona Group in 1975, which went bankrupt in 1977.
Maker Mark:
- Matte Gold Foil label has the company insignia with the following printed in black: ASEDA Sweden
- Believe this was manufactured c. 1960s
