Blank 1974 engagement calendar diary sent to local family here in the PNW by Madame Chiang Kai-shek. It is in the tradition of Chinese diaries and was published with photos of snuff bottles from the National Palace Museum in Taipei.

Stapled to the calendar is Mme's card and a note from the recipient stating when it was received. I have a number of these calendars dating from 1969-1985, please see photo #9 of another calendar (not included), which explains the recipients' acquaintance. Local man was a journalist. Added photo #10 of map note for more context (map is also not included.)
