| What Does Graded Mean? | |||||||||||||||||
| The Appliance Depot is one of the Uk's Leading graded appliance specialist retailers. We sell brand new graded appliances, so what does brand new graded mean? First of all products have NEVER been used. Secondly all products carry their manufacturer’s warranty which will be a minimum of a year unless stated otherwise. There are number of reasons that a product may be graded:- - It may not be in its original box or packing, or may even be just an end of line product. - It may have been on shop floor display, ie ex display or ex demo ! - It may have slight cosmetic marks which are usually to the sides or rear and occasionally to the front. Each product listed on ebay will have a detailed description of the reason the product is graded along with photographs to support this ! | VERY IMPORTANT : ALL DELIVERIES ARE DOOR TO DOOR ONLY AND WILL NOT BE TAKEN INTO THE HOUSE !....OUR 3RD PARTY DRIVERS ARE NOT INSURED TO DO THIS ! We use a 3rd party national delivery company who deliver our stock on pallets as close to your front door as is possible. Any gravel driveways , gates or narrow pathways for example may prevent this from being possible so please call us prior to ordering to discuss your particular situation as you may need to arrange help taking in your delivery. If access is too tight for the pallet they may leave the delivery kerbside. Delivery is by one man and any further assistance from him is at his discretion not ours as he is a 3rd party. Our larger appliances are delivered on a large vehicle with a tail-lift, if your building has any access issues, ie narrow lane etc, you must inform us beforehand. IF YOU REQUIRE DRIVERS CAN BE ASKED TO CALL YOU JUST PRIOR TO DELIVERY ! Special Deliveries In special circumstances particularly larger more expensive items we can deliver ourselves giving a more personal service helping to get items into the house and helping in tighter situations, please call our sales team for more detail on Tel. DELIVERY CAN ONLY BE MADE ONCE WE HAVE FULL DELIVERY DETAILS INCLUDING CONTACT TELEPHONE NUMBERS We do not dispatch large items (eg ovens and refrigeration) without full postal address and contact telephone number to assist with delivery. If this information is missing we will contact you via Ebay to request missing information which will require a response via Ebay and no other medium, this may result in a delay in dispatch as a result. It is therefore in your interests to ensure that all relevant information is complete at point of purchase. | We are one of the UK’s leading retailer of brand new graded and ex-display domestic appliances. We are a family run business based in South Wigston , Leicester, with over 40 years of electrical retail experience. We have a number of sales staff who can offer in depth product knowledge , an IT specialist, 2 very experienced engineers, and a warehouse crew to manage and deliver the stock. For National deliveries we use either a palletised delivery company or Citylink for smaller items. We have 2 large warehouses with over 1000 items for sale and a total of 25,000 sq ft storage. We sell all large domestic appliances from fridge freezers to dishwashers, washing machines and tumble dryers, a large range of built in appliances from the most reputable manufacturers. All the appliances we sell on ebay are either brand new or brand new graded, they have NEVER been used and are all supplied with the manufactures warranty. This means the graded products we sell are priced substantially less than an equivalent brand new item.
