This listing is for an incredible 8 piece drinking set. Set includes 6 handled mugs with golden rims, tall matching pitcher with golden trim, and large round matching tray with golden trim. Mugs are absolutely incredible with each featuring a the gentleman doing different activities.
All maintain high glaze/gloss. All are stamped on bottom (although hard to see as they are fully painted) RC Bavaria.
Each measures about: 5.5" tall X 3" across X 4.5" long with handle.
Pitcher
Pitcher features marvelous scene of monk carrying a bottle of wine and glass of wine, in the wine cellar. Displays large wine barrels behind him, and entrance to cellar, with exquisite attention to detail. Small basket with wine partially filled.
Features double stunning gold trim and interesting applied handle, and large heavy band of gold paint above flared base.
Fully painted including on the bottom. Marked J.P. France on the bottom. Maintains high gloss/glaze!
Measures: 12" tall X 4" Wide at top X 5" Across top Spout To End of Top X about 7.5/8" from spout to handle tip
Tray
Tray features exquisite scene of Monk sitting stretched out in wine cellar. He holds an open stein, and sits next to a a mostly empty basket full of wine. Very well done, great expression on this gentleman. Nice small details such as diverts and dirt on floor, weaving in baskets and folds in his apron.
Maintains glaze/high gloss.

Condition:
Excellent estate found condition free of breaks and repairs. Very minor surface scratching noted on cups/mugs where handle is (likely from use) one could possibly be a chip, does feel smooth to the south but as it's deeper it could be a deep scratch or chip. All are in excellent condition otherwise. Tray has very light scratch from placement of mugs and pitcher, not very noticeable, but I' am being picky about any imperfections. Extremely minimal gold paint loss, and regular maybe noted here and there associated with prior use. As all items are vintage estate found and will show signs of age, storage, prior use and general war and tear. Please review all photos and read description in its entirety as all items are sold as is where is.
It is extremely rare to find a set this complete and in this condition!
