White coloured porcelain insulator with the marking CPR on the dome top, and two wire grooves on its sides. This version with two grooves is much harder to find than the single groove variety.

This example has some black crazing/fracture lines in the skirt and side wire groove areas. These are likely from manufacture. One of the black lines along the outer base edge may be a base bruise but it’s difficult to tell since there are so many. These black crazing lines give the piece a unique character, and some collectors actively seek out pieces with this type of defect.
