VIA Eden ESP 5000 533 Mhz Socket 370 CPU
This CPU is a VIA ESP 5000 533 Mhz CPU. It can be used on a Socket 370 mainboard or a Socket 1 mainboard using a Socket 370 to Socket 1 adapter. Since it only uses 2.8 watts to 5 watts of power it can be cooled passive and is a good choice if you build a silent retro system which has more performance than a Super Socket 7 based system.
This CPU is a very rare model these days, only a few thousand were made for socket 370 systems and only a few hundred may still be around. If you collect rare CPUs or just want a silent Socket 370 system, this CPU is the best choice.
It offers decent performance and very low power consumption of only 2.8 watts to 5 watts. The CPU will work with many Socket 370 and Socket 1 mainboards. If your mainboard supports VIA C3 CPUs at all, it will work.
It was tested in a Slot 1 mainboard using a Socket 370 to Slot 1 adapter and is working fine.
This CPU is new and we have several of these CPUs.
Under the pictures you can find the specs of this CPU.
