You are bidding on a classic dollhouse or room box framed artwork, perfect for the 1:12 scale miniature setting.   The image is an ~80 Year old cigarette card (a.k.a. tobacco card) issued in 1936 by JOHN PLAYER & SONS (UK), depicting the fox hunt "IN FULL CRY".  Unlike modern, computer generated images, these cards are miniature works of art, with a patina and richness that only comes with being in existence for over 80 years.  The condition of the card is Very Good and it is framed in a new "antiqued" mahogany wood frame.

The series is titled:   OLD HUNTING PRINTS.  The image up for auction is No. 2 of 25 the "IN FULL CRY" based on a series of four plates originally engraved and published in 1813.  (Please note:  picture permanently adhered to frame.)

The back of the card contains a brief history of the original artwork.
